Cloud Architect

Role Overview

A high-impact Cloud Architect position focused on Azure (60%) and Microsoft 365 (40%) at a professional services firm. This is a key strategic hire supporting major cloud initiatives and an 18-month cloud migration project.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement Azure VM automation and security solutions
Lead datacenter-to-Azure migration projects with end-to-end ownership
Manage 85–90% project-based work
Serve as secondary M365 expert, providing backup to the manager
Guide and mentor junior team members, particularly those focused on 365
Handle senior-level client conversations and stakeholder engagement

Requirements

5+ years of cloud architecture experience
Strong expertise in Azure (automation and security)
Solid Microsoft 365 knowledge
Self-starter mentality with ability to operate independently
Enterprise or focused-role experience preferred
Professional maturity for senior-level client interactions
