Senior DevSecOps & Platform Engineer

Role Overview

Join as a Senior DevSecOps & Platform Engineer where you will ensure security, reliability, and scalability of the platform. This hybrid role combines infrastructure and platform engineering with backend software development, requiring you to design secure systems, automate deployments, and contribute to application features.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Security: Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure on Platform.sh and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
CI/CD & Automation: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, security checks, and deployments; integrate security practices into the development lifecycle
Backend Development: Develop and maintain backend features and services, primarily using PHP and Symfony
Platform Evolution: Contribute to evolving the infrastructure and developer platform to support modern engineering practices, including automation and AI-assisted development workflows
Strategic Contribution: Contribute to technical decisions regarding infrastructure, architecture, and operational strategy

Requirements

At least 10 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, infrastructure engineering, and software development
Strong experience with PHP and cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform)
Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
Solid understanding of modern infrastructure standards and tools
Experience implementing security practices in cloud and application environments
Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE)
Strong understanding of monitoring and observability tools
Excellent written and spoken English skills

Nice-to-Haves

Experience in high-traffic platforms, marketplaces, or e-commerce environments
Interest in modern developer platforms and AI-assisted engineering workflows
Interest in building secure and scalable data pipelines
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
