About the role
Role Overview
Join Tapbuy as a Full Stack Shopify Apps Developer focused on checkout experiences. You'll be responsible for developing checkout solutions, building and maintaining backend systems, implementing tracking, and ensuring code quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop checkout experiences via Checkout UI Extensions using React and JavaScript
- Build and maintain backend infrastructure including APIs, webhooks, rules/configuration, and databases
- Implement tracking solutions including Web Pixels, events, and dashboards
- Ensure code quality through debugging on merchant stores, monitoring, testing, and documentation
Required Profile
- Confirmed experience with Shopify apps (OAuth, Admin APIs, webhooks, deployment)
- Mastery of Checkout Extensibility and Checkout UI Extensions and their constraints
- Builder mindset: autonomy, delivery-focused, quality and performance-driven
Work Terms
- Minimum commitment: 2 days per week (up to 5 days per week based on availability)
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Compensation: Based on seniority and availability
