Base Senior Product Manager, Privacy

Role Overview

Join the Base team as Senior Product Manager for Privacy, leading the charge on onchain privacy as a critical frontier. You will manage the Privacy Platform product and team, steering the roadmap and setting the vision for how privacy becomes a default primitive for the next billion users onchain.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Base Privacy Platform
• Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from initial concept to launch and scaling
• Build onchain privacy primitives that enable developers to create best-in-class experiences
• Translate highly ambiguous, technical problems into clear, prioritized roadmaps aligned with business goals
• Manage stakeholders across Engineering, Legal, and Product teams

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record of shipping complex platform or infrastructure products
• Developer-focused experience building products like APIs, SDKs, or infrastructure with passion for world-class developer experiences
• Technical problem-solving ability to navigate ambiguity and create actionable strategies
• 0-to-1 environment expertise in fast-paced, early-stage product development
• Extreme ownership mentality with self-starter approach to outcomes
• Cross-functional collaboration skills with Engineering, Legal, and Product teams
• Passion for crypto and blockchain technology and Coinbase's mission

Work Environment

• In-person participation required throughout the year
• Multiple team and company-wide offsites annually (attendance expected and fully supported)
• Not remote-only despite many roles being remote-first
