Backend Developer (Kotlin/Java, Android APIs)

Role Overview

Join DataAnnotation's coding community to contribute to AI development with full flexibility. Work on diverse programming tasks including creating coding problems, building feature-rich applications, and analyzing data to help train and refine AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, with emphasis on Android development
• Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
• Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
• Provide feedback that directly shapes the next generation of AI models

Requirements

• Fluency in English (native or bilingual level)
• Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift
• Excellent writing and grammar skills
• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kotlin
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer

Work Arrangement

• Fully remote, work from anywhere (US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand)
