Architectural Project Associate

Role Overview

Architectural Project Associate position at a nationwide commercial architecture firm specializing in retail design. This is a remote role focused on supporting project managers and coordinating architectural deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate construction drawings for bid, permit, and client review
• Coordinate revisions and manage drawing sets (CDs)
• Conduct code research and permitting tasks
• Attend site surveys and prepare survey drawings and reports
• Coordinate with outside consultants (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing) and client vendors
• Prepare responses to comments from design reviews
• Create design development presentation drawings
• Conduct site visits for upfront verification and punch-lists during construction
• Meet with city officials for permit-related requirements
• Support Project Manager with project coordination

Required Qualifications

• Professional commercial experience, specifically with retail design
• Professional degree in Architecture
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Basic experience with rendering software
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong customer service abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Revit experience (noted as a plus)
