Role Overview
Remote AutoCAD expert position offering flexible engagement with 10–40 hours per week commitment. You'll create, modify, and optimize detailed AutoCAD drawings while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on various architectural and engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and optimize detailed AutoCAD drawings for diverse projects
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand requirements and deliver precise technical documentation
- Interpret architectural and engineering sketches, notes, and specifications to produce accurate CAD outputs
- Maintain version control and ensure all drawings adhere to project standards and quality benchmarks
- Identify and resolve potential design conflicts or discrepancies efficiently
- Participate in project reviews, offering constructive feedback and suggestions
- Document processes and update stakeholders via clear written and verbal communication
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD with a portfolio demonstrating complex drafting and design work
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for remote work
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently
- Solid understanding of architectural and engineering terminology and standards
- Experience collaborating with diverse teams and adapting to dynamic project needs
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach to technical challenges
