About the role

About the Role

We're seeking an Application Developer to join our fully remote Agile team. You'll be a hands-on Full-Stack Developer working with Angular on the frontend and C#/.NET on the backend, contributing to high-quality software solutions that impact healthcare administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, clean, efficient, and scalable code for various application components
  • Develop and run unit tests to ensure reliability, performance, and security
  • Participate in design discussions and contribute ideas to improve system architecture
  • Utilize Git for version control with effective branching and merging strategies
  • Implement basic security practices to protect applications from common vulnerabilities
  • Actively engage in Agile processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Participate in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools like Claude to support development and problem-solving

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited four-year university
  • Experience: 3+ years of application development including unit testing, debugging, and Linux environments
  • Full-Stack Skills: 3+ years hands-on experience building business applications with Microsoft .NET and C#
  • Frontend: Deep expertise in Angular with proven track record of scalable, user-friendly web applications
  • Database: 3+ years writing queries and stored procedures in MS SQL Server or MySQL
  • Modern JavaScript: Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Mindset: Self-starter with strong willingness to learn, take initiative, and self-direct
  • AI Tools: Experience and passion with AI-assisted development (Copilot, Claude, Windsurf, Gemini Code, etc.)

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency with GitLab including build/deploy scripts for CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience developing applications for Kubernetes and container deployments
  • Prior experience in Healthcare Billing, Healthcare Insurance claims, or SaaS startup environments
