About the role
Role Overview
Join LinkedIn's AI training program as an Adversarial Risk Evaluator to help improve large language model (LLM) performance and safety. This is a project-based consultant role (not full-time employment) where you'll analyze and provide feedback on AI-generated data to ensure accurate and trustworthy AI technology.
Responsibilities
- Review prompt–response pairs generated by AI systems
- Assign relevance scores using defined rating scales
- Evaluate and classify safety risks across multiple content categories (hate, sexual content, violence, self-harm, etc.)
- Apply severity ratings in alignment with provided policy guidelines
- Write brief, clear justifications for each evaluation
- Maintain consistency across high volumes of tasks
- Adhere to quality standards and feedback from QA or calibration processes
Key Requirements
- Experience in trust & safety, content moderation, QA, or AI evaluation (preferred)
- Strong written communication and judgment skills
- Ability to follow detailed guidelines and apply structured rubrics consistently
- Comfortable reviewing sensitive or explicit content
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- U.S.-based only
Work Arrangement
- Engagement Type: Part-time, project-based consultant work (not full-time employment)
- Schedule: You control your own schedule
- Tools: You provide your own tools
- Flexibility: May simultaneously work with other vendors/employers (subject to their allowances)
- Compensation: Per-project basis; hourly rates are estimates based on anticipated completion time
